The Bauchi State Commissioner for Natural Resources Development, Hon. Muhammad Maiwada Bello, has officially unveiled a political movement known as ‘Kaura Movement’ in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state in solidarity to the state governor, Bala Mohammed alias Kaura.

The movement is aimed at mobilising support for the new political party adopted by Governor Mohammed in the state for his senatorial aspiration in the 2027 election.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Hon. Bello said the movement was established as a robust political structure to advance the senatorial ambition of “Kauran Bauchi” and to support all aspirants contesting under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement [APM] in the 2027 general elections.
“The Kaura movement brings together respected elders, energetic youths, women’s groups, political stakeholders and intellectuals from across the zone.
“We are working collectively to strengthen the fortunes of the party and ensure continued democratic leadership in Bauchi State,” he said.
He reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to Governor Bala Mohammed and pledged total commitment to securing victory for the governor and all APM candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The commissioner urged the people of Bauchi South and the entire state to sustain their support, unity, and cooperation to achieve the desired political victory in 2027.
Other speakers at the event, including political stakeholders from Alkaleri LGA and senior government officials, praised the formation of the movement as a timely initiative that would foster unity and strategic coordination within the party.
They pledged to work tirelessly for the success of the movement and all APM candidates in 2027.
