The Gombe State Deputy Governor, Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau, has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work at the ongoing construction of the new Deputy Governor’s Office Complex in Gombe metropolis.

Jatau stated this during an inspection visit to the project site, where he assessed the level of work done and received updates on the progress of the construction.
The Deputy Governor who was received on arrival at the site by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry of works and housing, Alhaji Danladi Adamu, said that the project, when completed, would enhance conducive working environment and efficiency of activities within his office.

He commended the contractors and supervising officials and encouraged them to adhere to specifications by maintaining high standards in the execution of the project.

Dr. Jatau noted that the quality of workmanship observed during the inspection reflected the commitment of the Gombe State Government to delivering durable and functional public infrastructure and expressed hope that the project would be completed within the agreed timeframe.

The Deputy Governor reiterated the commitment of the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to the delivery of quality infrastructure projects across the state that support effective governance and improved public service delivery in all sectors.

The Director Building from the ministry of works and housing, Architect Ahmed Abdullahi Yahaya who took the deputy governor round the various sectors of the project, said that the work is currently at 70 percent completion and is progressing according to schedule and that the project remained on course for completion by August 2026 as stipulated in the contract agreement.
He said the awarded project to the Triple Tech is billed for 52 weeks at the cost of 1.3 billion naira , pledging that it will be completed and handed over within the next eight weeks.
According to him, all necessary construction equipment and materials required for the successful execution of the project have been mobilised to the site and added that the availability of the equipment and resources was the basis of his confidence that the project would be completed as scheduled.
Architect Ahmed Yahaya further stated that the Ministry of Works was closely monitoring the project to ensure compliance with approved standards, specifications, and timelines.
