The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Mr Aaron Artimas, on Wednesday said the ongoing township and inter-city road projects across the state would convince voters to re-elect Governor Agbu Kefas and the APC in the 2027 general election.

Artimas also disclosed that the party had set up a reconciliation committee to resolve internal disputes and ensure a united APC ahead of the election.

Speaking with our correspondent in Jalingo, the APC spokesperson said the ongoing township and inter-city projects across Taraba reflected the Kefas administration’s commitment to transforming the state and achieving its infrastructure development goals.
He added that Governor Kefas’ alignment with President Bola Tinubu was already yielding positive results through infrastructure projects that would further connect Taraba to other parts of the country.
“The ongoing projects across Taraba will convince the electorate to vote for Governor Agbu Kefas and the APC in 2027 for continuity,” Artimas said.
He noted that the projects were not only changing the physical landscape of the state but were also creating an enabling environment to attract investors, stimulate economic growth and improve the lives of residents.
Artimas commended President Bola Tinubu for reactivating the construction of the Ibi Bridge, approving the road linking Plateau and Taraba states, and initiating other major infrastructure projects in the state.
“I think Tarabans are with Governor Agbu Kefas, President Tinubu and the APC. The alignment of Governor Kefas with the government at the centre is already attracting the transformation that Tarabans have long desired.
“The approval of major projects to be executed in Taraba by President Tinubu will give the APC an edge over other political parties in the state,” he said.
The APC spokesperson further disclosed that the party’s State Working Committee would soon embark on a statewide assessment tour to address internal grievances, adding that party stakeholders were already engaging aggrieved members to withdraw court cases against the party.
“I want to assure you that the APC in Taraba is fully prepared for the 2027 election and will emerge victorious. Yes, we have pockets of internal grievances, but our stakeholders are handling them to ensure a united APC family.
“Our stakeholders are engaging aggrieved members to withdraw court cases, and soon the State Working Committee will begin touring the 16 local government areas for stock-taking to ensure that all internal grievances are resolved,” Artimas assured.
