Nigerians, listen carefully.

A presidential candidate without relevant credentials is an “existential threat” to a nation. President Tinubu submitted academic credentials to INEC with a university qualification listed, but without details of his primary and secondary school education.

That gap matters.

In any serious country, public office starts with public records. Not because we love paperwork, but because leadership demands transparency. If you ask citizens to sacrifice, pay tax, and trust the system, you must first show us the paper trail of your own journey.

How did you get from primary to university? Which schools? Which years? Who were your classmates? These are not attacks. They are basics.

When the records are blank in the middle, conspiracy fills the space. Rumor becomes record. Doubt becomes data. And the presidency, the highest office in the land, starts on a foundation of questions instead of facts.

This is not about one man. It is about the standard we set for 2027 and beyond. Tomorrow it will be another candidate with another missing page.

Obubuyeye, pray for Nigeria. But prayer without accountability is wishful thinking.

INEC must demand full disclosure. The courts must insist on clarity. And we, the people, must refuse to normalize holes in history.

A nation cannot be built on “trust me.” It must be built on “here is the proof.”
