Yahya Jingir, the perfect illustration of…masquerading as a servant of ALLAH. The country is dying, but you are preaching hatred.

In Nigeria today, politics is no longer contested with ideas. It is contested with incense, anointing oil, and prayer points.

We do not ask: what is your policy on power? We ask: which prophet anointed you?
We do not ask: what is your plan for the economy? We ask: which church did you sow seed in?
We do not debate manifestoes. We debate miracles. We do not interrogate records. We interrogate spirituality.

This is why mediocrity thrives. When elections become crusades, competence becomes optional. When governance becomes prophecy, performance becomes optional. The candidate with the loudest amen gets the vote. The candidate with the deepest pockets buys the altar.

Religious leaders have become campaign managers. Pulpits have become podiums. Sunday services have become endorsement rallies. Politicians who cannot explain a budget can quote 50 scriptures. Politicians who cannot build a road can build a cathedral with public money.

A nation cannot develop on vibes and visions alone. Ideas build roads. Ideas build schools. Ideas create jobs. Altars do not lay asphalt. Prayers do not balance budgets. Faith without planning is just wishful thinking with crowd noise.

2027 must return us to context. Not religious context. Context of ideas. Context of data. Context of competence. Let us test candidates, not their pastors. Let us vote policies, not prophecies. No more rubies for swine.
