Human empowerment is total when it is mental. As John F. Kennedy put it, “The human mind is our fundamental resource.”
Everything else is decoration. Money without mindset becomes yahoo. Position without principles becomes cultism. A nomination form without a thinking brain becomes a rubber stamp in the House of Representatives. Glorified house boys and girls.
We have confused empowerment with empowerment ceremonies. We hand out grinding machines, rice bags, and 50k alerts, then call it liberation. But the man who collects the money today will return tomorrow to beg. Why? Because his head was not touched.
Real empowerment starts in the mind. It is the ability to ask: How much did you borrow? What did you use it for? How will you pay it back?
It is the courage to say in January 2027: I will not be silenced with violence. It is the clarity to know that data beats drama.
A mentally empowered people cannot be bought with gala and coke during electioneering imbroglio. They cannot be ruled by fear. They cannot produce sons who are dumb in public because their fathers said to them at home, “let’s adopt strategy.”
Until we invest in schools, in books, in debate, in critical thinking, we are only recycling poverty with new packaging.
Give a man cash and you feed him for a week. Give a man a mind and you free him for life.
Context over cultism. Data over drama. No more rubies for swine.
