Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has identified Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun as the three APC governors he said are opposed to his Rainbow Coalition.
Wike made the disclosure on Monday while speaking on TVC Journalist’ Hangout, insisting that governors in Adamawa, Edo, Kogi, Lagos and Akwa Ibom had no issues with the coalition.
He also expressed surprise at seeing Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at a meeting where opposition to the coalition was discussed.
“How can a governor leave his state and go to Abuja to complain that Rainbow Coalition is a distraction? Is that a serious governor?” Wike asked.
The FCT minister said the disagreement was specifically with Uzodimma, AbdulRazaq and Abiodun, amid growing tensions between the coalition and the APC Governors’ Forum ahead of the 2027 elections.
