The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has urged Adamawa residents to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, citing policies including local government autonomy as reasons to support his re-election.

The movement’s founder, Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, said its visit to Adamawa was aimed at launching its activities and mobilising votes for the President. He was represented at the event by High Chief Engineer Kestin Pondi.

Pondi described Tinubu as a courageous leader who puts Nigeria and Nigerians first. He said the President’s decisions, including the removal of the fuel subsidy and the granting of local government autonomy, reflected that commitment. He urged Nigerians to be patient with the reforms, saying they were painful but would eventually bear fruit.
“The option for a better Nigeria is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Pondi said.
Tompolo also commended Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for policies he said had put the state on a path to development. The movement donated 35 vehicles to support its campaign activities across Adamawa.
The movement’s National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekande Asuku, thanked Adamawa residents for their support for Tinubu and urged them to vote for him in 2027. He also called for support for Fintiri’s senatorial ambition and other candidates in the elections.
Speaking at the event, All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Alhaji Ahmed Galadima Aminu thanked Tinubu for policies he said were repositioning the country for development. He also acknowledged Fintiri’s efforts to promote sustainable development in Adamawa.
Adamawa APC Chairman Alhaji Hamza Alhaji Bello Madagali expressed confidence in Tinubu’s electoral victory, citing Fintiri’s leadership and development projects across the state.
Fintiri declared that “Adamawa is an Asiwaju state,” expressing support for the President.
