My grouse with the gentleman governor…. Includes the following….
1. Tampering with lawma, currently Lagos stinks, heaps of refuse everywhere. More rodents as they have things to feed on for months before their eventual disposal.
2. Scattered projects, this has gone a long way in increasing more hardships as we spend more hours in traffic…. Agege, oshodi expressway and so on… What stops him from taking things in turns. But like a prophet who knows of subsequent evil days, he chose to do them all at the same time.
3. He worked assiduously in demarketing and fighting his predecessor Raji Fashola.. Killed some of his legacy projects…reduced him to almost nothing. This has in no small measure declined fostering of relationship between Lagos and Federal government especially as both have aligned under a governing party since 2015.
4. Rarely participates in party affairs, such as endorsement of candidates in sister states. This was where I sniffed the impending challenge as such meeting will help you network with colleagues.
5. He returned Lagos to her years of Noise, coming from siren. Fashola won mine heart in this regard, you can not really tell.. Fashola’s convoy as there is no noise from siren. If care is not taken. You may be in traffic with fashola, if care is not taken, fashola may board bike in your presence without you knowing , inspect project and leave calmly after drawing his first hand experience….. Countless times Fashola had a disguised ride in commercial bikes in an attempt to burst contractors.
6. Job racketeering in this dispensation : for sometime now Lagos job websites only works in the mid night or at obscure periods..
7. The manner and approach of His excellency in handling the brouhaha between his wife and the chaplain(failure to anoint her first) as it relates to according her respect and her eventual stepping out of the church in annoyance.. This culminated in that Reverend Gentleman sack and kicking him out of his official residence with his children. People like yours sincerely, pleaded with his excellency…. I guess numerous pleas fell on rocky ears..
Yes, Ambode has brought infrastructural development to our domains, as close by streets currently wears new look unlike Fashola whose concentration was said to be more on the island but he was quick to put a defense that the island ranked high in terms of tax compliance , which resulted in his concentration on the part that bore Golden Egg.
Some have argued that his excellency is not a politician, in defense of his poorly rated interaction, some have at several point attested to how he deliberately snubbed their calls forgetting that not every call wants to curry favour…
Need I remind any one here, that this same fate almost befell fashola but “We the people ” prevailed on the powers that be because of the individual involved…but how many can really rise today for Ambode, how many has he risen for!
