Mind the Gap foundation, representative Dr. Udoh Odeh, has urged Gombe 2019 batch B stream II corps members to get equipped with modern trends. Mind the gap, by Google provides the platform through which Corps members get technical and mentoring support on digital and traditional marketing.
Dr. Odeh stated this during an inter-platoon presentation on the topic “The path to leadership”.
He encouraged Corps members to be abreast with digital skills as they prepare their minds to be great leaders of the Country.
Dr. Ode disclosed that it was a measure to encourage the Corps Members to show more interest in the programme saying that Google has observed that the Corps Members’s interest was declining and that as a way to motivate them to sign up and learn the skills, something has to be done.
“Prepare your selves to be great leaders. Digital skills are very important in the life of Corps Members now that the world is going digital. As a leader you are a change agent”.
Meanwhile, Fauziya Muhammad, from number eight platoon came third, Abisola Adeosun from number ten platoon came second as Corps member Ajiboye Lydia from number two Platoon emerged the best( first position) they were presented with cash prizes of 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 respectively.
