The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe,Mr David Markson, has urged 2019 Batch C Stream one Corps members to continue with the post camp Training at their various places of primary assignment.
The coordinator stated this at the closing ceremony of the 2019 Batch C Stream one,SAED hands-on Training, exhibition and Inter-platoon competition.
According to him, a lot of youths that passed through the scheme and did not not take the Programme serious are still roaming the streets looking for non existent white collar jobs.
” It would be a shame to pass through the NYSC Scheme and remain jobless when you can use your hands to put food on the table and also be employers of labour” he said.
In her remarks, the Head of Skill Aquisition and Entrepreneurship Development,Mrs Nkiru Mmadumbu, drew the attention of the Corps members to the speech of the Deputy Governor during their opening ceremony.

Noting that Gombe State Government is passionate about youth empowerment, calling on them to go out there and make Positive impact through Skill Aquisition.
The competition produced platoon 8 as the best. The skill Acquisition classes are; food processing and preservation, cosmetology, beads making,facial make up and head gear and leather works and so on.
Thinking outside of the box in news gathering. Relating issues without bias, fundamentally a voice to the voiceless.
