Nwaorisara Kanu, Gombe state.
Pan African Institute for Global Affairs and Strategy (PAIGAS) has appealed to 2019 Batch C Stream I Corps members deployed to Gombe State to see the good in Nigeria and to be the change they would love to see, instead going outside the shore of Nigeria through illegal means seeking for white collar jobs.
According to Ambassador Dahiru Suleiman, of PAIGAS he noted that leaving Nigeria through illegal means by some bad eggs has dragged the good name of Nigeria in the mud.
He stated this on tuesday at a sensitization programme held at temporary NYSC camp ground, Amada, Gombe state.
He said if youths must travel it must be done rightly and not through illegal and unsafe means.
“You must work hard to earn a living in your country. The grass is not greener on the other side. You must see the good in our Dear Nation.
“A lot of people lost their lives while trying to leave the shores of this country. Some became slaves, while others became destitutes.
“Nigeria has enough for everybody’s need but not enough for everybody’s greed” he said.
Out one thousand four hundred and thirty three (1,433) corps members that benefitted from the sensitization, ten (10) were picked as PAIGAS ambassadors, one each from the ten various platoons.
