Ahead of Thursday Passing out of 2019 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1, the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe,Mrs Yaakugh Florence met with officers on grade level 12 and above to remind them on modalities of the passing out.
Yaakugh in her address warned that Corps members must not be more than thirty on a queue and must wear their face mask .
NYSC state Coordinator disclosed that corps members who are outside the state due to the restriction and lockdown orders will collect theirs once it is lifted adding that distribution will last for 10 days across the 11 LGA’s.
She stated, ” It is necessary to adhere to the protocols of Covid 19 by maintaining physical distance and wearing of facemask. Remember to emphasize on the need for Corps members to take along their ID cards and Original copy of their final clearance letters stamped and signed by their employers.”
While speaking on issuance of certificate by proxy, the State Coordinator stressed that on no condition should certificate be issued by proxy.
She added that Corps members must present Identity Cards before their certificate is issued, urging them to make photocopy of the ID card ,as the original would be collected at the point of issuance of Certificate.
“It is important they make photocopy of their ID card , which would serve as a means of identification along with their Certificate of National Service, especially for those of them that would be traveling back to their respective States,” she said.
