Gombe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Sani Altine Umar, has promised to collaborate with Federal Road Safety Corps in the state to ensure lives and property of residents are safe.
According to a press statement which was made available by the command’s Public Relation Officer Buhari Saad, Commandant Umar stated this on Thursday when she received in audience, the newly posted Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Gombe I.G Ibrahim.
Ibrahim informed the State Commandant that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen the already existing working relationship between the two Agencies.
In her response, Umar assured the sector Commander of her Command’s readiness to work with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and also promised to deploy her men to work with the Corps whenever the need arises.
In a related development, the Command recently played host to the newly transfered Commissioner of Police Shehu Maikudi, who was at the NSCDC state command to seek for synergy.
He said, “The purpose of my visit is to familiarize and seek area of mutual interest where both security agencies will collaborate in the provision of safety to Gombe People.”
On her part, the commandant Sani Altine Umar appreciated the commissioner for the visit adding that the command is ready to partner with the Nigeria Police Force in achieving a safe and peaceful state.
