The Speaker, Gombe state youth Parliament, Rt. Hon. Khalid Ahmed Kumo (Wakilin Matasan Akko), has felicitated with all Muslim Ummah.
According to a press statement, which was signed on Friday by Ibrahim Ishaq, the Special Assistant to the speaker, Kumo Prayed Allah to have mercy and accept Ibadat of faithfuls.
He also urged the Muslim Ummah, especially the Youth to celebrate the Eid In a peaceful manner, adding that everyone must comply with NCDC safety protocol to remain safe.
The statement partly reads, “Eid is a time for forgiveness, kindness, and compassion. These qualities are the essence of Islam. It is a time of joy and celebration; a time to make peace with all neighbours, relatives, friends and to resolve differences.
“Young people especially Muslims should endeavour to pray for the world to overcome this pandemic and see it end.”
While urging Gombe State Youth and country at large to participate actively in virtual meeting. “Gombe Youth Economic Empowerment Summit’ Will be Holding On The 22nd August 2020 By 12pm on Zoom. We expect more keen participation which will engender inclusive and a robust economy for our young people,” Kumo added.
