No fewer than Seven youths on Saturday, made away with valuables at the constituency office of the senator representing Gombe central senatorial district, Danjuma Goje.
However, when our correspondent arrived the Kumo constituency office of the two term governor of Gombe State located in Kumo, Akko LGA, on Monday, normalcy had returned to the office.
According to the Personal Assistant to the chairman Senate Committee on Maritime Transport, Adamu Haruna, “hoodlums numbering seven arrived Senator Danjuma Goje’s constituency office at about 5:30pm on Saturday. They put fear in the people they met in the office, after beating them, our people had to run for their lives.
“The hoodlums then began to carry our office items; among the items carried by the group are LED TV, Generator, Kasea Motor Cycle, Bill boards, broken doors and many other office items.
“I have reported the matter to Kumo divisional Police Office for prosecution of the matter and we hope the culprits will be brought to justice.” Haruna said.
Meanwhile, The Public Relations Officer, Gombe State Command, SP Mary Malum, was yet to get back to our correspondent as at the time of filing this report.
