Buhari’s Victory Trek: Man who trekked to Abuja gets Treatment in Gombe

Gombe state government, on Monday took the medical responsibility of Dahiru Buba, an indigene of the state, who was alleged to have trekked to Abuja to felicitate with the president, Muhammadu Buhari on his assumption to office.
He said the trek caused him restive nights and also led to his inability to walk properly.
According to him, he was admitted at the government house clinic and referred to flossy orthopaedic a private hospital in Gombe metropolis, where he consulted a Doctor who placed him on test, x-ray and prescribed him some drugs and report back within five days.
Fielding questions from newsmen Mr. Dahiru expressed encomium to government for the prompt action of the state government on his predicament.
He said, “I spent fifteen days on my way to Abuja, after which I began to experience some changes when i came back home from the trip.”
Isa Faruk, relation of the victim, said Dahiru, had suffered serious problems with his legs following his trek to Abuja which caused him a lot of his belongings in search of treatment.
“With the intervention of the state government my brother will be properly diagnosed and treated very well.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya is a leader with a listening ear who is always ready to come to the aid of his people. We pledge complete loyalty of our families and friends to the Inuwa led administration,” he said.
