The book is about the Lord’s never ending grace, love, patience, mercy, his power, his faithfulness, his might and how sometimes we ignore the prompting of the holy spirit because we are either too familiar or being too eager to work for God without seeking his will.
The book has four main characters from the states whom felt, they were led to go to the village of Kuta in Nigeria on evangelism.
But as you know the devil will not sit and watch while you take what he believes is his. The enemy will try to break the edge around them by attacking their weaknesses.
The characters are: Alexander Stanford, Sandra and Molyn ( the twins) and Tom Hacks.
Alex is the student’s counsellor who was deep in fornication but gave his life to Christ and is doing everything possible to remain pure.
Sandra is reserved and with a low self esteem because everyone preferred Molyn even their parents but is grateful that her sister doesn’t flaunt her weight and she refused being friends with anyone who refuses to be friends with her.
Molyn is beautiful and everyone’s favourite, she always looking out for her sister.
Tom Hacks is a student who is passionate about Christ, who preaches in the campus which made him known but was addressed as Pastor Tom. Pastor Tom is handsome and is every woman’s dream husband.
The characters were realistic and the events too. The writer highlights how dream is one of the ways God speaks to his people, how we handle spiritual things physically and how we sometimes ignore the inner prompting of the holy spirit by going ahead even when warned against it.
The writer highlights the importance of dreams through the life of Sandra, Alex and Tom.
He highlighted how the enemy uses your weakness against you and how he tries to make saints fall into sin in other to break the hedge around them so that he can be able to steal, to kill and to destroy.
He attacked Alex first by making him fornicate and giving the enemy a mighty foothold.
The writer also highlighted how loving and merciful God is when we confess our sins and the power of genuine repentance.
In a nutshell, the book is about God’s faithfulness, mercy and his grace. How man falls into sin even after being warned in the dream or by the promptings of the holy spirit.
