CCB presents Gombe SSG certificate of honour

Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) under the Presidency has presented a certificate of honour to the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
The SSG was presented with the honour during a one day workshop organised by the Code of Conduct Bureau in collaboration with Gombe State Government for public office holders on strict compliance with Assets declaration and Code of Conduct for Public Officers.
According Joshua Danmalam, Information Officer, Secretary to the State Government office, in a statement made available to our correspondent said the Certificate of Honour which was personally signed by the CCB Chairman Prof. Isah Mohammed was in recognition of the SSG’s role in ensuring good governance and transparancy.
Mohammed who was represented by Engr. Saad Abdullahi, Federal Commissioner, CCB, Northeast zone, said information plays a major role in helping officials understand their functions in government and the need to abide by the codes of conduct.
“The award by the CCB to Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi (Madakin Kaltungo) further demonstrates the unblemish and high moral standard of the SSG in Government business.
“CCB Chairman Prof. Isah Mohammed issued this certificate of honour in recognition of the SSG’s role in ensuring good governance and transparancy. ,” the statement partly stated.
