The SSG told his audience that his decision to accept the offer of appointment was informed by a genuine concern to co-ordinate the progressive ideals of governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya into actions that will improve the life of the citizenry.
He described his main role as ‘liaison’ between the political class and civil servants working closely for the benefit of the state and the Country.
While appreciating the delegation for identifying with his achievement when he served as the Vice-Chancellor University of Maiduguri, Njodi said that was only possible because of the support of the university community and prayers of the people.
Njodi further enjoined the delegation to remain patient with the administration in its quest to reach the entire state with basic amenities.
On his part, Special Adviser to the governor on Political Affairs Dr. Mohammed Bello said Gombe state is fortunate to have prof. Njodi as SSG given his wealth of wisdom and experience in the management of both human and material resource for the common good of the people.
Bello added that the delegates must remain loyal to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration as more appointments are in the pipeline for genuine and committed members.
Meanwhile, the APC Chairman Kamo Ward Bala Yahaya, Dr. Barnabas Malle and Buba Galadima said they were at the SSG’S Office to congratulate him on his appointment and to appreciate the government for completing Billiri- Kamo- Dogon rowa which has made movement in the areas easier.
