No fewer than 650 corps members were on Tuesday, sworn in by the acting chief Judge of Gombe State, Justice Muazu Pindiga, at the NYSC temporary camp ground in Amada, Akko LGA, Gombe state.

In an address, during the opening ceremony of the 2020 Batch B Stream IB corps members, the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Florence Yaakugh, advised the batch to envisage worthy landmarks in their host communities.
According to her, as full fledged corps members, it behoves the corps members to respect camp rules and regulations, adding that the watchword on camp is discipline.
Yaakugh said, “All participants must attend every activity in the course content, especially the lectures.”
While urging members of the batch to take seriously Community Development Service (CDS), the State Coordinator, further urged corps members to picture what they could do to leave lasting legacies in their host communities.
“There are awards ranging from Chairman, State Honours Award and Presidential Honours Award for outstanding Corps members in Community Development Service.” she added.
