Reason for 1-1 draw in Gombe- Kano Pillars coach explains
Coach of Kano Pillars Lionel Soccoia, has explained the reasons why his team missed a lot of chances, in their game against Adamawa United, adding that it would have been more than the achieved point.
A dissatisfied, Soccoia revealed this on Sunday, at the Pantami Township Stadium, Gombe.
He frowned at his team’s inability to capitalize the numerous chances, it had before the end of the match.
According to Soccoia, “Although I’m happy with the one point secured by my team -Kano Pillars, but I’m not satisfied with the opportunities that the boys failed to use.
“1-1 is good for me but we came here to win, but we couldn’t.
“We no problems with the officiating of the match.
“Football is when you have the opportunity you must score; we had too many opportunities today but we didn’t take them.”
Soccoia added that the team will go back to Kano to work on their lapses to secure maximum points in their next match.
