Former Ekiti State Commissioner for Works and Transportation during the immediate past PDP Administration of Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose and current Ekiti State PDP Secretary, Hon Funmi T Ogun today hosted the Senatorial secretaries,14 Local Government Secretaries and the 155 Ward Secretaries across the State at the party’s Secretariat situated at Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti.
A press statement made available to Periscope Nigeria correspondent by the special Adviser on media to Mrs Ogun,Dimeji Olayinka,Mrs Ogun used the opportunity to appeal to the executives to have it in mind that all PDP Secretaries have paramount roles to play towards catapulting the Party to victory in the future elections most especially 2022 Governorship Election in the State.
“I want to sincerely thank my Chairman who approved the conveyance of this meeting.
I invite you here today to state out most of the functions and what is expected of us as party’s engine room in our various wards and local government areas. It is our believe that we shall be working hand in hand with our various chairmen, other executive members to ensure we deliver our people from the current rogues in power who by all means trying to mortgage our future and those unborn generations.” Says Ogun.
She also thanked them for trusting the leader general of the party Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose and his lieutenants.
In her usual humanitarian gesture, members were refreshed with food, drinks, Cash as part of motivation.
Party guidelines and notebooks were also issued for proper documentation of party’s membership at ward level.
In attendance are the State working committee members led by the Chairman, Hon Bisi Kolawole, notable leaders and dignatories were also present.
