Amana FM reporter, Yususa Isah Kumo, on Friday, tied nuptial knot with his found love, Aishatu Ibrahim Adam.
The wedding ceremony which took place at Galdamari Juma’at Mosque, had colleagues working across platforms in attendance.
Kumo who doubles as a member of Gombe State Government House press crew, our correspondent observed relished the moment with joy.
Admonishing the couple, the Chief Imam of Galdamari Mosque, Malam Bappaji Gaini, called on the couple to uphold their marital vows with the fear of God.
Gaini said conjugal vows when applied wholeheartedly yields multiple of blessings and promotes unity.
“Hold your marital vows and put the fear of Almighty Allah at heart. Avoid the intrusion of unwarranted interferences from third party.
“The couple should apply the Islamic injunctions in their marriage,” Malam Gaini advised.
On her part, Chairman, Correspondents’ chapel, Hajara Leman, said marriage is about love, tolerance and patience, urging the newly wedded to accommodate one another.
Leman said, “Marriage is endurance, patience, tolerance, Love, if they adhere to these am sure they will not regret their marriage. They should not allow third party to interfere whenever they have misunderstanding they should try to reconcile, they should try to settle it, if they stick to these their marriage will succeed.”
Some dignitaries present at the ceremony includes; Senior Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the Gombe State Governor, Alh. Suleman Musa (Arzor), Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Gombe State chapter, Mal. Saidu Malala.
Others are; Secretary of NUJ Correspondents’ chapel Mr. Williams Attah, chapel Treasurer Abdullahi Idris, amongst other members of the chapel, governor’s press corps and groom’s colleagues.
