Cleric task residents on prayer for seven abducted Gombe persons

National Chairman, Ushaqun Nabiy Rasulul A’zam, Shariff Auwal Sadiq Bolari, has urged Gombe people to pray without ceasing until the seven residents of Gombe State, are released.
Bolari revealed that they were kidnapped in Kankara Katsina State, on their way to Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass Maulud that took place in Sokoto State about two weeks ago.
According to him, those abducted includes “Adamu Jauro Gambo, Malam makeri and Danjuma from Funakaye Local Government, Mujitaba, Siddi and Abdulrahman from Kwami, and Nasiru from Gombe Local Government area.”
The Muslim cleric made this appeal on Monday, adding that God’s intervention remains the ultimate means to ensure the victims regain their freedom.
He said efforts are in progress to ensure the release of the seven people, as talks with the kidnappers has gone far on the specified amount demanded.
Sharif Bolari However, debunked rumours that four of the victims were released, stressing that as of Monday morning, all the seven victims are with the kidnappers.
He said, “The seven were on their way to Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass Maulud that took place in Sokoto State about two weeks ago.
“It is not true that four have been released as at Monday there is no such thing.
“God’s intervention remains the ultimate means to ensure the victims regain their freedom.”
