Gombe Pilgrimage board begins vaccination of pilgrims

Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, has commenced the vaccination of 2021 intending pilgrims with Management and staff.
Speaking during the commencement of the exercise, Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan Adamu (Sardaunan Yamaltu), said the move was in line with the directives from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria preparatory to this year’s spritual journey.
Alh Hassan revealed that the Board in collaboration with the state Ministry of Health, has made all necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the vaccination exercise with a view to achieving the intending mission.
The Executive Secretary revealed that the Board will ensure that all the intending Pilgrims receive the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
He said about 750 intending pilgrims have been vaccinated so far.
While calling on all the intending Pilgrims to ensure that they have been inoculated, adding that no Hajj for any person without vaccination.
