Kebbi Gov approves purchase of 50 truck load of Millet for Ramadan

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, on Monday approved the purchase of fifty (50) truck load of millet, for distribution free to the twenty one local Government Councils in the State.
According to a press statement obtained by our correspondent through Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the governor, the announcement was conveyed in Birnin Kebbi, by Commissioner for local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Hassan Shalla.
According to the Commissioner, the laudable gesture of the Governor was in line with his usual tradition and magnanimity in assisting all categories of people at the period of Ramadan, to observe their fasting with ease.
He thanked the Governor for reaching out to people and his unwaivering support to the Ministry, at all times.
The statement partly read, “Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the purchase of fifty truck load of millet, for distribution free to the twenty one local Government Councils in the State.”
