By Jack Tasha
Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in the state on this year’s celebration of Eid-el-fitr.
While rejoicing with the Muslim faithfuls, the Deputy Governor harped the need of more stronger Peaceful Co-existence, Unity and Love among themselves and even with non Muslims.
Jatau requested for continuous and fervent prayers from all and sundry, following the current security situation facing the state and the nation at large, adding that the problems can be solved through collective efforts.
He said with prayers, things would be brought under control, while calling on residents to be hopeful for the lost glory in all facets of human endeavours to be restored.
The Deputy Governor used this medium to remind the Muslim faithfuls to adhere to the lessons learnt during the Ramadan fast, stressing that so the blessings and rewards would not to be wasted.
He further prayed that the good tidings associated with the just concluded Ramadan fast abides with our Muslim Ummah as they celebrate the Eid el-Fitr.
