Eid-el Kabir: Gombe Deputy Gov congratulates Muslim ummah, urges peace, unity

The Gombe State Deputy Governor, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, has congratulated the Muslims all over the world over the successful Eid el-Kabir Sallah Celebration, urging them to imbibe the spirit of peace and unity in the spirit of the season towards sustainable socioeconomic development.
The Deputy Governor, in his message to the Muslims during Eid-el Kabir Sallah Celebrations said, the religion of Islam is established on peace and unity therefore its adherents and expected to live according the tenets for Allah to be happy with them and reward their acts of worship and sacrifice.
He noted that even though the state, the nation and indeed the entire world is facing daunting challenges of insecurity, diseases, and other factors militating against our individual and collective goals, our trust in God and piety in worship and prayers may invoke the mercies of God and lessen the ills for our own good.
The Deputy Governor admonished on the need for the Muslim faithfuls and indeed, all in the society to demonstrate love by extending hands of fellowship to the needy, as putting smiles on the faces of the distressed attracts Gods love on those who serve Him and humanity.
He enjoined all and sundry to pray for an end to the Coronavirus, other deadly diseases and ills threatening humanity, urging them to obey Covid-19 protocol and other etiquettes of safety and hygiene for long life and prosperity.
He wished all Moslems, successful celebration, praying God for many more happy returns.
