Enumerate Gov Yahaya’s development strides to our people, SSG urges APC stakeholders

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has tasked ardent supporters of APC led Government in the State to continue educating the public on gigantic development strides recorded in the last two years.
Njodi stated this on Friday, when Gombe South Inuwa Yahaya Volunteers (IYV) visited him at the Government House, Gombe.
He enjoined them to continue publicizing the projects of the government to People at the grassroot, as well as how to constructively engage them at all levels in the state on challenges faced by the people.
The SSG noted that as a group that participated actively in the installation of the APC government in the state and the Country there is need for them to also contribute to it success.
He explained futher that the Inuwa Yahaya administration has done alot especially in the area of Education, Health, Environment, Road infrastructure and Agriculture among others, adding that with commencement of Fertilizer production by the state blending plant, famers would soon receive the commodity at subsidized rates.
Commenting on the clarion call for him to declare his political ambition, Njodi said at the moment he is occupied with the assignment given to him by the Governor which is to coordinate the operations of government.
In his remark, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political matters, Dr. Mohammed Bello commended the SSG for the key roles he is playing in cultivating unity among the political appointees, the political class and the electorates across the state.
Bello futher praised the humility, fairness and considerate disposition of the SSG which he said has added value to the positive image being enjoyed by the State Government.
Bello who appreciated the contribution of the Inuwa Yahaya Volunteers during the electioneering campaign urged them to remain resolute in supporting the present administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Speaking earlier, Gombe South Zonal Chairman of the Inuwa Yahaya Volunteers Group, Mr.Emmanuel Turaki, explained the role they played during the 2019 governorship election which brought the APC government in the state, he also assured of their unalloyed loyalty to the government.

Turaki who pleaded with the SSG to answer the call to lead them into the next political dispensation, adding that the call was informed by the clear cut disposition of the SSG towards the development of the state and Gombe South in particular.
Also, Gombe South Woman leader of the group Miss Vivian Timothy, lauded Governor Yahaya for giving Women a voice in his administration, calling for more opportunities as women are known for transparency as advocate for genuine change.

The occasion had in attendance the Commissioners for Works and Transport, Water Resources, Trade and industry, North and South Deputy Chief of Staff, Special Advisers, Special Assistants, Permanent Secretary and other top Government functionaries in the office of the SSG.
