Congress: Gombe APC LG executives emerge

Recall that the state during stakeholders meeting adopted consensus method in line with their party’s guidelines.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Yahaya lauded the process of the exercise, “I want to assure the world that we are doing this simultaneously across the State and we are doing it in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of our great party.
“So we in the APC remain resolute and steadfast and we shall continue to work assiduously and consolidate on the progress achieved by the party, knowing fully well that we struggled and fought resolutely and unseated a sitting Government of the PDP,” Yahaya said.
The Governor assured the leadership of the All Progressive Congress at the National level that the APC led administration in the State would continue to work hard and strategize for future victories of the party at all levels.
He added, “We are ready to face any political party and I have the firm belief that as a party we shall beat them squarely and continue to provide dividends of democracy to our teeming populace; there is no shaking, let the world know that we are in control, let the world know that we are in charge and let the world know that we are ready to deliver APC from the Local Government to the State and to the National level”, Governor Inuwa stressed.
Earlier speaking, the Chairman of APC Congress Committee for Gombe State, Dr. Danjuma Dabo expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the Local Government Congress across the State.
He said, “The report am getting from my colleagues across the State indicates that the exercise is moving well and in accordance with the APC guidelines; so I am happy especially with the general conduct of the delegates and the people here.”
The chairman, APC committee for Gombe State Dabo had earlier witnessed the swearing-in of APC ward executives in Gombe Local Government to confirm them as bonafide delegates to vote/affirm the Party’s Local Government Executives.
Similarly, The All Progressives Congress Local Government Congress in Balanga Local Government Area was conducted successfully on consensus in line with the party’s position that congresses are allowed in consensus.
The congress was conducted in Talasse, where positions vied for on consensus were affirmed.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Manassah Jatau, who was also a delegate congratulated the winners and the entire APC family for a great achievement, having reached agreement on the the new Excos to run the affairs of the party at local government level without rancour.
He called on the winners to to see their emergence as a trust on them to do justice and embrace everybody in the party, especially the losers for the overall success of the party and humanity.
In his remarks, the Chairman, APC Congress Committee for Balanga Local Government Area, Mohammed Bello, explained that the Congress was conducted in consensus in line with the party’s constitution rules and regulations accordance to agreement reached at their stakeholders consultative meeting with the Governor on 22nd July 2021.
He confirmed the ratification of twenty six out of twenty seven members of the Excos with the exception of that of the Youth Leader, which he said shall be concluded on a later date.
The Deputy Governor later paid condolence visit to the Bala Waja in his palace over the death of his first son who died on Friday.
He urged the Bala Waja, members of his family and his subjects to accept the death as natural, being the end of all mortals.
The Bala Waja Alh. Muhammad Danjuma Muhammad appreciated the visit praising God to reward him abundantly.
