Covid-19: NYSC DG urges PCMs on accepting vaccine, others
The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig.Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, has urged Prospective Corps Members to accept coronavirus screening, testing and vaccination.
He revealed that the Federal Government has spent enormously on Covid-19, towards ensuring the safety of Prospective Corps Members.
Recall that during the recently concluded orientation course for Batch B stream I, a few PCMs across some camp grounds including Gombe, tested positive to coronavirus vaccine and were isolated for recovery.
Ibrahim made this disclosure on Monday, in his virtual address to 2021 Batch B Stream II Prospective Corps members and Camp Officials, nationwide.

According to him, Coronavirus virus vaccines are safe, noting that he has taken first and second dosage, while encouraging acceptance.
Ibrahim said, “The Federal Government had spent hugely to ensure that camp participants are screened and tested before being admitted into the Orientation Camp.

“Vaccines have been made available either at the camp or during your primary assignment.
“Please get vaccinated against the dreaded pandemic. I have taken the first and second jab and I encourage you to do same. It is safe for everyone.”
