Nnamdi Azikiwe Staduim set to host the 2021 NNL Super 8 Championship

Eight teams have made it to the super 8 Championship occupying first and second position of the Southern and Northern conference of the Nigeria National League, NNL, Group A1, A2, B1 and B2.
The championship is scheduled to run from September 7th to 11th in the sports complex of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu. The Eight teams are:
- Gombe Utd Fc
- El-Kanemi Warriors FC
- Niger Tornadoes FC
- D.M.D FC
- 3SC
- Ekiti Utd FC
- Remo Stars FC
- Bendel Insurance FC.
Among the eight teams, Bendel Insurance, Remo stars, Gombe United, and 3SC had experienced Playoff in 2019 and Gombe United football club, Remo Stars FC, Kada City and Bendel Insurance gained promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League(NPFL).
But In the space of two seasons, none of these clubs could sustain their NPFL status.
