Represent your families, institutions well – NYSC state coordinator
Mrs Ada Imoni, State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, has implored Corps members to see the orientation course as the beginning of better things to come in the course of the service year.
Mrs Imoni, made that known at the debriefing of the 2021 Batch B Stream II Corps members,at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.

“The second phase of your service year commences tomorrow after the closing Ceremony. You have been equipped for the task of nation-building on camp and I am optimistic that you will make us proud at your various places of primary assignment,” she said.
Mrs Imoni, admonished them not to lobby for rejection but accept their posting in good faith , bearing on mind that the one year mandatory service is for National Development. She added that if any Corps member is rejected, he or she should return to the Local Government Inspector for reposting.
She also charged them on discipline, urging them not to be rude to their employers and members of their host Communities. ” Remember you are representing the NYSC, your families and your various Institutions” she added
The State Coordinator also advised them to use designated motor parks to travel ,avoid night journeys ,road side vehicles and as much as possible, avoid travelling once it is 6pm.

Qn Community Development Service, the State Coordinator advised Corps members to strive to leave lasting legacies in their host Communities by initiating and executing viable projects .
She advised them to continue with the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development post camp training in order to be masters of their chosen skills, adding that the training they got on camp was not conclusive.

Mrs Imoni, stressed on the need to route all correspondences through the channel of Communication and adhere strictly to that ; The State Coordinator, through the Zonal Inspector ,through the Local Government inspector and their employer.
