Ex Gombe Gov, Dankwambo taunts current administration
Former governor of Gombe State Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo has taunted the present administration of governor Muhammadu Yahaya.
Dankwambo governed the state from 2011 to 2019 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but his aspiration to the Senate suffered a blow in 2019.

He made this disclosure on Tuesday, in his verified facebook account, where he dissuaded the current leadership in the state from complaints.
Recall that the current administration, had made statements previously on the financial recklessness of the previous government led by Dankwambo.
According to Dankwambo, he didn’t complain about the paucity of funds of the state during his years, adding that his government worked within the financial strength of Gombe.
The former governor noted that since leadership is a personal decision that requires personal development and determination to succeed.
He said, “I never cried that there was no money (to run my administration) because i said i want to become governor.”
While admonishing the governor, to leave the position for those ready for the challenges involved in leadership, he stressed that constant complaints only shows how unprepared the governor is.
“Any day a leader starts crying that there is this, there is that one, that means there is inadequacy in the leadership and if you are not prepared to face challenges as a leader then you should leave it for those people who are ready to face challenges,” he added.
