Gombe NYSC harps on diligence
The food for thought was on diligence; the core value number five Platoon represents.
Briefing Corps members, one of the Corps Camp Directors, Iorhemba Yobu GM/21C/0273, observed that some platoons came out for meditation without their platoon banner ( depicting the Core value of the Scheme ) he maintained that the essence of naming the platoons after the core values of the scheme is to enable them uphold the values of the NYSC.
Meanwhile, The Camp Director, Alhaji Ndako Bida, read out suggestions dropped in the suggestion boxes by Corps members and tackled the issues .
He however, reminded them that the camp is a temporary facility provided for the purpose of the orientation course as management through the help of the State Government would keep renovating and improving on the facilities to provide camp participants with conducive atmosphere.
Ndako, advised them on the need to be their brothers’ and sisters’ keeper by looking out for one another, calling on them to shun any form of social vices and be of good conduct throughout the service year.
