Markus Wina, holds town hall meeting on mid-term constituency report

The Member representing Pero Chonge Constituency, Gombe State House of Assembly Bldr. Samuel Markus Wina, has submitted a mid-term Constituency report to his constituents.
The report included an overview of his achievements in his two years in office, while giving constituents time to interface and interact with him.
Delivering the keynote address, Hon. Rambi Ayala (Member Representing Billiri East) described Hon. Wina as a pacesetter in many aspects in the house.
“He is the very first member to organise a town hall meeting in the sixth Assembly, and his employment is second to none,”Ayala said.
The lawmaker pointed that the reason Pero Chonge has been able to enjoy this much dividends is because of the person of Hon. Wina who is friendly, approachable kind and humble.
Lauding Wina, Senator Bulus Amos, called on everyone to rally round the All Progressive Congress (APC), in order to continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
The Senator described Wina as an examplary politician who is making them proud in the helm of affairs. He called on the people to ensure the the APC is re-elected so they can keep doing the good job they’ve already started.
Delivering their goodwill messages, the district heads of Gwandum, Filiya, Gundali, Kushi, Burak and Bangunji, passed a vote of confidence on the Honourable Member. Describing him as nothing short of a hero, whose heart truly is with the people.
Highlights of the event include; the presentation of certificates to six graduands of the YMCA Vocational Institute that were sponsored for the period of two years to be trained in numerous vocational skills.
Meanwhile, 60 small business owners were all smiles as they received working grants to help their businesses grow.
Other dignitaries at the event are; Amb. Moses Kyari (APC Publicity Secretary), Hon. Simon Karu (Member representing Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency), Hon. Bashir Barau (Kaltungo West), Hon. Mustapha Usman (Gombe South), APC LGA Chairman, Diplomat Dauda Stanley, Sadeeq Ahmed, Councillors from Pero Chonge wards, title holders, CSOs, and a host of others.
