Njodi dedicates African Universal Forum Award to Gov Yahaya
Secretary to State Government (SSG), of Gombe Prof. Ibrahim Njodi, has dedicated his recent award to Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, officials, staff of SSG’s office and people of the state.

Njodi made this disclosure on Monday while receiving an award by African Universal Youth Consultative Forum for his tremendous contributions to humanity.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the SSG is one of the most decorated officials of the Gombe State Government, with a number of awards, from both professional organizations, social groups as well as about 23 chieftaincy titles cutting across Gombe, and other parts of Nigeria.
The SSG urged the group to emulate the positive aspects that had given him appreciable edge, stressing that the governor’s ability to spot out his quality for his role is commendable.

He noted that he would be appreciated to see the Nigerian youths take their place in the scheme of things, adding that men within his age bracket were on extra time.
“This award is dedicated to the governor of Gombe State, His Excellency Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, his government and the good people of Gombe State, without whom I wouldn’t have been recognised today. I want to really thank each and everybody for the love and care,” Njodi said.

He continued, “Sometimes, when people say this is what I have done I always say is it true? To know if they are talking about me or someone else. Whatever I’m doing good I want people to emulate in the interest of humanity.”
Speaking earlier, In his vote of thanks, Special Adviser to the Governor on Legal Matters, Barr. Caleb Ubale lauded the choice of the SSG for the award, noting that he would be spurred to doing more.
Ubale said Njodi’s humility is striking, noting that despite his stature as a man of hard work, he has not allowed the effects to bear negative consequences on him.
The governor’s aide said, “We thank God for God’s grace upon his life, may God make him do more than we are expecting him to do.”
Presenting the award to the SSG, Chairman of African Universal Youth Consultative Forum, Mukhtar Garba said Njodi was carefully chosen due to his outstanding humanitarian disposition.
He revealed that the group with about 400 million membership had observed the strong commitment to issues pertaining to the development of youths.
“With these souvenirs we want to let you know of how much your positive impact are felt by the people whom you have given assistance,” Garba added.
