NYSC SAED builds corps members capacity – Gombe State Coordinator
The Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme of the NYSC has been building the capacity of Corps members to gain the required Entrepreneurship and hands-on skills to cope with the challenges of unemployment and global socio-economic downturn.
That assertion was made by the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe Ada Imoni, at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Batch A Stream I Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development sensitization, at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.

She maintained that the programme was a nationwide initiative targeting the Nigerian graduates mobilised for the one year National service . According to her, it was also designed to be implemented within the framework of the camp and the service year (post camp ) of the Corps members.
She added that the objectives of the Programme are to among other things, cultivate the Culture of entrepreneurship and income generation practices, build the capacity of Corps members to see opportunities to create wealth, identify demand-driven business skills, gather information on funding opportunities and gain technical assistance in job search.
A total of one thousand and twenty five Prospective Corps members were at the sensitisation.
