SRHIN Anambra’s Valentine with AGSC, Nnewi
Slum and Rural Health Initiative Anambra State chapter recently partnered with _ombre_beauties_ to reach out to young teenage girls at the Anglican Girls Secondary School, Nnewi.
The outreach featured a health talk on Personal Hygiene for Females & Pelvic Infections with the senior class girls and matrons of the school.
The outreach is a subset of SRHIN’S SIMBIHealth project which is a campaign for sexual health and behavioral information. It is aimed at enlightening young adults on how to keep a positive sexual health lifestyle, and how sexualities can affect or impact on mental health.
The Anambra State team were supported by _ombre_beauties_ with an appreciable number of staff present at the event.
After the talk, food and personal hygiene material were distributed to the girls at the school and to people in slums.
