SRHIN Osun State reaches-out to 100 persons in slums
There would not have been a better way to celebrate the Valentine than to share and spread love to underserved communities. Slum and Rural Health Initiative on Valentine’s Day visited Sabo and Lagere Ile-Ife in Osun to share the love of the season. The outreach was carried out after careful mapping and delineation of the community.

Sabo and Lagere in Ile-Ife (home or cradle of love) is one of the most marginalised and underserved communities in the state.
As a youth-led nonprofit organization and part of SRHIN’S _FoodInSlum_ project, the Osun State Team led by, Taiwo Sukunbi of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) alongside other dexterous team members took love in hands to these communities. The Team were greeted with a teem of settlers including young and old waiting to be served.
The project is aimed at providing one of the basic needs of man, food, but especially in areas and to people who do not have the means or access to one quality square meal.
