I’m not impressed with officiating- Assistant Coach of Abia Warriors
The Assistant Coach of Abia Warriors Ernest Ezinwo, says the referee and other officials contributed to its 1- 0 defeat against Gombe united.
Ezinwo made this disclosure shortly after the match at Pantami Stadium in an interview with journalists.
Ukeme Williams’s 70′ made the difference as he sent the visitors on a defensive.
He noted that his next line of action would be to prepare adequately ahead of his team’s next encounter, stressing that if the officials were fair it would have ended on a better note.
According to him, “I don’t have much to say because I believe each and every one of us, including you that is the interviewer saw the game. You need to give the lines men, referee both the centre referee to explain, if you are not impressed, I’m not impressed.
“If you are not impressed I’m not impressed, all of us watched this match. Without being told we tormented the game from out set, each and everyone saw it, we played Gombe united but because one thing or the other which saw, let us go give that answer to ourselves, because for me.”
Speaking on possible actions, Ezinwo continued, “I don’t have any line of action than to go home and prepare my team for the next coming match that’s important.”
Also Speaking, Gaffer of Gombe United Aliyu Zubairu said spectators and fans have alot to contribute to the successes of a team.
He said, “Because of the gingering that they give to the boys is not longer there are good and bad ones. We miss them in this match.”
Commenting on the performance of his team, “The Abia Warriors are good, they are very physical they contest for every ball and they went hard on my boys that is what slowed the game down but ordinarily it was a good match, they are a good side,” Zubairu said.
