Kaltungo community restates commitment to Gov Yahaya’s re-election
The Secretary to Gombe State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has attributed increasing support for Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in the state to positive impact of his developmental initiatives on the lives of the people.

Fielding questions from newsmen shortly after a sensitisation and mobilisation rally in support of the Governor he convened at the Olusegun Obasanjo mini stadium, Kaltungo, Njodi said the turnout of party supporters and other well-wishers of the Governor especially youths and women is a testament to the ever growing support for the governor and his good works.

Njodi said the people of Kaltungo have every reason to appreciate Governor Yahaya and his administration for providing them mega projects, in addition to appointment of sons and daughters of in various key positions in government.
He used the occasion to debunked the rumour going round by opposition elements that the APC and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya are not on ground, maintaining that the massive turnout of people proved the contrary.

Addressing the large crowd at the venue of the rally Njodi appealed to eligible voters who are yet to obtain their Permanent Voters Card to hasten, as that is the means for re-election of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya come 2023 general election.
The SSG also cautioned them to be wary of political mongers going round deceiving people to buy off their PVC’s, tasking them to report such elements to the appropriate authorities.
Speaking earlier, Majority leader and a member of the state house of Assembly representing Kaltungo West Yerima Ladan Gaule and Bashir Yakubu Barau as well as the APC Gombe South Deputy Chairman Musa Hassan Wali extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and commended the SSG for convening the rally which they described as unprecedented by any individual politician or political appointee in the area.
In their remarks the Commissioners of Information Julius Ishaya and his Women Affairs counterpart Naomi Awak enjoined the gathering to remain supportive of the Governor as he has more goodies for the people. They also restated their unalloyed support to governor’s re-election in 2023.
The chairman Shongom local government council Yohanah Nahari commended Professor Njodi the convener of the rally for his untiring efforts towards bridging the gap between the people and government.
Nahari also lauded governor Inuwa Yahaya for his unwavering commitment to the well being of the people as demonstrated in the spread of basic amenities for the benefit of the people.
Representatives of youths, women, students, Achaba, Keke NAPEP and Market associations are not left out as they took turns to declare and restate support to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and his administration.
The event which featured cultural displays from various communities attracted APC supporters and other well-wishers from all the 10 electoral wards of Kaltungo local government , political appointees from the area and neighbouring local governments of Shongom and Billiri respectively.
