Senator Goje empowers constituents with 500 tricycles, 1000 motorcycles
No fewer than 1,500 residents of Gombe Central have benefitted from the empowerment programme of Senator representing the senatorial district, Muhammad Danjuma Goje.
He said the reason for the distribution was to make his constituents self-reliant.
Our correspondent reports that the items distributed by the senator include; 500 tricycles and 1000 motorcycles to beneficiaries from Akko, Yalmatu Deba Local Government Areas.
Goje, said the reason for the empowerment programme was to reduce the rate of unemployment among the people of his constituency especially the youths and women.
He added that the project will also encourage the spirit of self reliance among the people in the area.
The lawmaker was represented by member representing Yamaltu West Constituency in the state assembly, Hon. Abubakar Ibrahim Kurba, called on the beneficiaries to make good use of the items, adding that many youth and women will continue to benefit from such interventions.
Goje said, “Our leader Senator Goje is a lover of the common man, hence, his resolve to always help those who are in need to make them self-reliant and also improve their economic status.”
Also Speaking, Sulaiman Kumo, who got a tricycle, lauded the senator for his care, adding that with the tricycle, his life would be transformed.
He also pledged his 100 percent loyalty to the senator.
According to Kumo, “Goje is an uncommon senator, I want to commend him for bringing succour to his people through various projects and empowerment items.”
