NYSC Gombe commences lecture series for batch B stream I
The Head of Lectures, Mr Bala Mohammed Baba has taken Prospective Corps members through the general overview of the NYSC and it’s objectives.
Bala made the remarks during the commencement of the lecture series at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State, where he called on them to take the series seriously by taking notes and asking questions where necessary.
Delivering the first lecture on Security, Group Captain Peter Bitrus Bilal (retd), congratulated the 19th Chief Executive of the NYSC, Brigadier general MK Fadah on his appointment and assumption of duty.
While encouraging prospective corps members to be security conscious, Bilal said no one should be seen as a specialist on security as all hands must be on deck to report suspected persons and moves .
Prospective Corps members were given security tips and encouraged to walk in groups and avoid night journeys among other things .
