Eid-el-kabir: Prof Bello felicitates with Muslim ummah
The Managing Director of Galaxy Backbone Ltd Prof. Muhammad Bello Abubakar, has felicitated Muslims across the nation on the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
Abubakar made the call in a press statement sent to Periscope Nigeria on Saturday, by his Media Assistant Mr Tasiu Muhammad Pantami.
He urged Muslims and all Nigerians to use the festival as a sober reflection to pray for the resolution of problems confronting the nation.
The statement read, “I call on Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper at all times in providing the unity that can move the country forward and frustrate the nefarious activities of criminals among us.
“This is to extend warm felicitations to all Muslims nationwide on this year’s occasion of Eid -El Kabir festival.
“As seeds of Abraham, the lessons of obedience, fear of Allah and sacrificial offering in our relationship with God and fellow human beings as espoused by the festival should not be allowed to go down with the rams!
“Rather, we should observe the festival with sober reflections on the state of our nation, Nigeria, and pray to God to have mercy on us; heal our land and see us through the present threshold of calamities and uncertainties.”
