Gombe Muslim Pilgrims Board Cautions against over load
In preparation of the commencement of the airlift of Gombe State contingent of 2022 Hajj exercise, the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has distributed the main thirty two kilogramme luggage bag to all pilgrims from the state.

According to a press statement by Hauwa Muhammad, Head of Media of the board, the Executive Secretary of Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan Adamu, made the plea during the distribution.
Adamu urged all the Pilgrims to be law abiding and not to exceed the thirty two kilogramme legally approved for each pilgrim.

He explained that 8kg hand luggage was also approved to every pilgrim before leaving the state and another 32kg bag had been distributed to each pilgrim through their respective Hajj officers from 11 local Government, Board A and B.

The Executive Secretary further said, “any pilgrim that packed more than the required kilogram, may end up losing some of the goods as the Airline will not condone excess luggages.”
He continued warning against, “putting Zam Zam water in the main luggage, all Pilgrims allocated with five litres of Zam-Zam that it will be collected on arrival in Gombe International Airport.”
