Gombe SSG inspects 14-seater bus of the Correspondents’ chapel of the NUJ under repairs
The Secretary to Gombe State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, on Thursday inspected the 14-seater bus of the corespondents’ chapel.
The Vehicle which had been off the road for sometime would be repaired through the support of the State Government.
According to a press statement made available to Periscope Nigeria by Joshua Danmalam, Information Officer SSG’s office, Njodi directed that the bill for remaining works on the vehicle which include; the seats, windscreen and painting be forwarded immediately to his office.

According to him, the desire was to ensure the complete overhaul of the bus, announcing plan by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to provide a brand new one to the chapel soon.
“We want this vehicle to be in a perfect condition so that when the new one is provided, you will have two vehicles,” the SSG added.
The Chairman corespondents’ chapel, Hajara Leman, lauded the State Government for the support provided towards the repair of the vehicle.

According to her, such was critical, following her members efforts in covering the activities of state.
