World Youth Pre-season: Mailantarki’s Football Academy Arrives Copenhagen
Gombe State New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), governorship candidate for the 2023 general election, Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, has led his famous football academy, Mailantarki Care Football Academy, to Copenhagen to participate in the Youth Pre-season Tournament in Denmark and Norway.

The team left Nigeria via the International Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Saturday midnight and has since arrived Copenhegan to participate in the youths’ competition kick-starting today, Monday, 25th July to end Saturday, 6th August, 2022.
According to a statement issued by Mailantarki’s media office, the competition is aimed at exposing talented players for advanced opportunities in Europe.
“Recently, Mailantarki care successfully helped young talented footballers to play in the European clubs at various levels,” the statement added.
Our correspondent reports that the entourage has about 20 young players and technical staff, headed by the former coach of the Nigeria’s Under 17, Manu Garba, acting as the technical director of the team.
