GoHealth is a world-class healthcare provider, says NCS
The Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has revealed plans for complete digitisation of its processes.
This assurance was given during a courtesy visit from the Nigerian Computer Society, Gombe State Chapter.
Welcoming the delegation on behalf of the Team Lead of the Agency, Mr. Umar Tanimu Umar revealed that GoHealth is currently operating at 90 percent ICT.

He stated that this had contributed in no small measure to the successes of the Agency, adding that GoHealth was working towards digitisation of all its processes and the agency aims to be paperless soon.
He told the delegation that no single paper was used in the recent GoHealth BHCPF enrolment and Community-Based Targeting.
He revealed the efforts made by the agency in the development of mobile app, USSD, SMS and Web referral automation features which has improved the average referral time to less that 20 minutes, and that GoHealth employs the services of local companies for the development of it’s ICT infrastructure.
Speaking earlier, Chairman of the Nigerian Computer Society, Mr. Abdullahi Musa Yola hailed GoHealth as the lead Agency in the state, due to its robust ICT framework that it had set up in less than two years.
Yola described the agency as a world-class healthcare provider, stating “it was obvious from the several testimonies being shared by beneficiaries.”
The NCS promised to deploy all its professionals and ICT experts to GoHealth on demand.
Yola also appealed to the Agency to encourage its ICT staff to register with the Nigerian Computer Society, so as to benefit from the several conferences and pool of experience.
On his part, The Operations Manager, Dr. Gideon Maspara, lauded the society for the visit and appreciated the hand of fellowship.
Maspara said, “ICT is key to achieving Universal Health Coverage and we are ready to accept all assistances and innovations from the Society.”
